12th August 2006 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: 10- 30 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: First time out in what seamed like ages, after looking back at diary entries its over a month! Wind was from the north which isn't a good direction very gusty and up and down. One good thing about a north wind is we get to sail the full length of the lake. It was very hard work sailing to keep going it was a matter of really hanging on in the gusts but then up on the tiptoes to get through the lulls then getting ready for the next gust! Not a classic day but just nice to have a bit of wind at the weekend when nothing else is planned finaly |
